Chilean Education

Nowadays, in Chilean education we have an unequal educational opportunity, people don’t have the same opportunity when they choose a school, it depends of how much money do you have for pay a good school, especially in santiago exists a big difference in the quality of the schools. In our country, the English language is taught in 5th grade and children start learning English when they are 10 years old, and they don’t learn very well the language, it isn’t enough because in the adolescence is much more difficult learn a language than in the childhood, but in some schools the English is learned from nursery school.
But at this time, Chilean Education is better than before and it provides incentives to encourage as improving teacher preparation.
Teachers are very important characters in the Education system and they don’t only teach and create knowledge to students, also they are psychologists, they are most part of the time with the students for that reason, teachers have to know how the students are learning everyday, how are their relationship with their classmates or which student has a low self-esteem.
Also the most obvious characteristic that educators present to the students is in the area of body language and facial expression, the factor “body language is very common in schools.
In the future, teachers are going to have much more roles because of all problems that schools are facing today are certainly connected to the problems that are society faces, including drugs, violence and the changing of our family structure. The use of drugs in the general population has become a very serious problem in the society and within the school system; even recently there has been an increase in alcohol abuse among teenagers. Also the violence is other serious problem within schools, here appears “bullying”, a word very common in the students and an issue very worrying on the minds of educators.
If you want to be a teacher nowadays, you have to have many qualities, because teachers have many roles within a school, they are the second students’ parents , they are worry about students’ behaviors, values, knowledge, etc. and even about themselves, their own teaching methods to be able to recognize, and change, the way they present themselves to the entire class, teachers have to be able to know; what we are doing, and how we are doing it, at different times in the day is crucial to the area we present to the students.
I want to teach, I think that this profession especially English teacher is very important for the future, the English nowadays is necessary for new jobs and also many people study English language because of they like this language, and also I like the idea to teach other people and give them all knowledge about English that I know, I have the vocation.

Hamburgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The word "Hamburger" comes from a place called Hamburg in Germany, Hamburger refers to the cooked patty of ground meat (usually beef) and they may contain spices and other ingredients. Hamburgers are also known like "burgers" have now become generic, and may refer to sandwiches that have ground meat, chicken, fish (or even vegetarian) fillings other than a beef patty, but share the characteristic round bun.
Hamburgers or burgers are known to everybody, they are usually a feature of fast food restaurants aroud the world, they are in places such as “Burger King” (known as Hungry Jacks in Australia), Kentucky fried chicken,Wendy's,White Castle,Krystal and McDonald's is the world's largest chain of fast-food restaurants.
Recent years have seen the increasing popularity of new types of "burgers" in which alternatives to ground beef are used as the primary ingredient, for example, a turkey burger uses ground turkey meat, a chicken burger uses either ground chicken meat or chicken filets. A buffalo burger uses ground meat from a bison and some mix cow and buffalo meat, thus creating a "Beefalo burger" and an ostrich burger is made from ground seasoned ostrich meat, a “Bambi burger” uses ground venison from deer and “Octoburger”, containing octopus, appeared the following year. Now the Veggie Burgers use a meat substitute as “tofu” (it is a food of Chinese origin, made by coagulating soy milk),or “TVP” (it is made from defatted soy flour, a by-product of making soybean oil. It is quick to cook, high in protein, and low in fat.).These Veggie Burgers are usually lower in saturated fat or calories than traditional hamburgers and they have become more popular among fastfood restaurants, appealing to vegetarians.

Are the Hamburgers bad or good for your health?
It may be common knowledge that too much fast food is bad for you. According to a study over 15 years, those who ate a fast-food meal at least twice a week were at least 10 pounds fatter than those who ate fast food less than once a week, a diet which includes regular helpings of fast food makes people fat and increases their chances of developing diabetes, even the obesity can cause high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease among other problems that are caused. Now Americans are eating hamburgers, doughnuts, French fries, and fried chicken like never before, and Kentacky fried chicken or McDonald’s are more famous than never before. Despite the admittedly weak efforts of the fast-food chains to introduce healthier foods, the three most popular menu items haven't budged over the decades: french fries, soft drinks, and, of course, the almighty hamburger. children, teenagers and also adults (At least 1 in 4 adults now eats fast food on any given day and for children, 1 of every 3 meals is fast food) prefer fast food and they are including hamburgers, hotdogs and french fries in their diets everyday.

Volcanoes!

What are the Volcanoes?

A volcano is a rupture in the Earth's surface, which it allows to escape hot, molten rock, ash and gases from deep below the surface, the most common perception of a volcano is of a conical mountain, spewing lava and poisonous gases from a crater in its top, but the features of volcanoes are much more complicated and these features are related to volcanic material (lava, which is what magma is called once it has broken the surface, and ash) and gases (mainly steam and magmatic gases).
The principal parts of the volcanoes are: the large magma chamber, Conduit (pipe), Crater, Throat, Parasitic cone. The most important part is the magma chamber, because here is the power and it is extremely high temperature and pressure can cause the lower mantle to melt and become liquid rock, or magma, (the magma that has reached the surface is called lava). Eventually some of the magma pushes through vents and fissures in the earth’s surface, a volcanic eruption occurs.

Volcanoes erupt materials, they are: Gases, liquid and solid.

  • Gases: Sometimes in an explosive eruption, pent-up gases escape violently the gaseous are carbon dioxide, nitrogen, hydrogen, water vapor the magma breaks into pieces and bursts from the volcano in a column of ash and fiery fragments, these fragments that fall back to earth are called tephra and in a large eruption, the tephra can cover vast areas with a thick layer of ash, presenting a much greater hazard than lava flows

  • Liquid: it is called lava, but really is the “magma” (when the rock is melt because of high temperature and pressure). The lava flows are a threat, but they are usually slow enough that people can get out of the way, and it normally doesn’t cover very large areas, the damage is usually limited.

  • Solid: Here there are fragments of mud and other debris that flow down the sides of a volcano. Debris flows often form when part of the volcano collapses, breaking up and flowing down hill. If the collapse is major one, the large flow that results can travel great distances. Here, also are the fragments of rocks and ash.

Today, there are many active volcanoes in the world and more and more people are living in potentially dangerous volcanic areas. Volcanic eruptions are among the Earth’s most powerful and destructive forces and they can also cause Tsunamis, volcanic earthquakes or the release of suffocating gases.

Volcanoes erupt materials into the atmosphere, dangerous gases and water vapor.

Here the ash covered a truck and all surround it, because of the winds carry ash great a distance, people soffocate by a hot volcanic ash.

The ash begin tyo fall about an hour after the eruption and the sky become so dark that is necessary turn the lights all day.

The volcanoes are natural disasters and we can’t do anything for prevent it, but the volcanologists are preparing the monitoring methods of the volcanic eruptions.
